Human Rights Policy

Basic approach

The Group has formulated the SENKO Group Human Rights Policy and the SENKO Group Basic Procurement Policy in accordance with resources including the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights and the Japanese government's Guidelines on Respecting Human Rights in Responsible Supply Chains.

The Group strives to respect the human rights of all stakeholders involved in its business activities and to work with everyone involved with those activities, including business partners, in accordance with the Human Rights Policy.

We also strive to ensure that all officers and employees have a deep understanding of social responsibility. We’ve established the SENKO Standards of Business Conduct, which provide a series of guidelines to be observed across every aspect of our corporate activities, and we're working to raise awareness of those standards throughout our organization.

Reflecting our belief in the importance of both respecting human rights and collaborating creatively in the pursuit of value with a diverse range of stakeholders, including shareholders, investors, employees, business partners, customers, and local residents, we’ve embraced the perspective that distributing the profits and benefits obtaining from such collaboration and through productivity improvements among multiple stakeholders in an appropriate manner helps drive the Group’s continued economic development, and we’ve established a Multi-Stakeholder Policy and made a Partnership Development Declaration in that spirit.
